All positions below are full-time at Damping Solutions GmbH.
You lead the technical side of our production: welded constructions, manufacturing processes and quality. When a drawing, a weld procedure or a production problem needs a decision, you are the person engineers and the shop floor turn to.
What you will do
- Take technical responsibility for production processes, from drawing review to finished product
- Coordinate welding activities: set up and maintain welding procedure specifications (WPS) and monitor welder qualifications
- Make sure welded parts meet the applicable welding and quality standards
- Solve technical problems in production and improve processes where they slow down output or affect quality
- Give engineering and sales input on manufacturability before a design or quotation is final
- Align technical specifications with suppliers
What you bring
- A degree in mechanical engineering, or a qualification as a technician in mechanical engineering
- Further training in welding technology, for example International Welding Engineer (IWE) or International Welding Technologist (IWT)
- Many years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and welding technology
- Confidence in reading and assessing technical drawings; CAD experience is an advantage
- A decisive, structured way of working: you set priorities and take ownership of the outcome
- Clear communication with both welders on the shop floor and engineers in the office
- A strong eye for quality and safety
- Good command of English; German is an advantage
What we offer
- A market-rate salary based on your experience
- A full-time position
- At least 20 working days of paid annual leave
- Own production: you see the effect of your technical decisions directly on the shop floor
- A smaller team with short lines and direct contact with management
You build and manage our customer relationships across Europe. Our customers are engineers and procurement specialists in defence, cleanroom and seismic projects, so you sell technical products to people who ask technical questions.
What you will do
- Develop and manage key accounts and win new customers in European markets
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical requests for our engineering team
- Prepare and negotiate quotations and contracts
- Work with our local representatives across Europe to follow up leads and opportunities
- Monitor the market and competitors, and turn what you see into sales priorities
- Report on pipeline, forecast, and results to management
What you bring
- A degree in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in B2B sales of technical or industrial products
- Experience with defence, industrial, or high-tech customers is an advantage
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems
- Fluent English; another European language is an advantage
- Strong at building long-term relationships and negotiating on value rather than price alone
- Technical curiosity: you want to understand the product well enough to ask the right questions
- An independent, structured way of working with clear follow-up
What we offer
- A market-rate salary based on your experience
- A full-time position
- At least 20 working days of paid annual leave
- Own production: you sell products you can see being made and tested
- A smaller team with short lines and direct contact with management
You keep the order flow running: from purchasing materials to processing customer orders and getting shipments out on time. We promise customers delivery within 2 to 3 weeks, and your work is a big part of keeping that promise.
What you will do
- Process quotations and customer orders, from order entry to confirmation
- Purchase materials and components, compare suppliers and follow up on delivery dates
- Plan and arrange shipments, including the required shipping and export documents
- Keep order, stock and customer data up to date in our ERP system
- Handle day-to-day correspondence with customers, suppliers and carriers
What you bring
- Completed commercial training, for example as an industrial clerk, or a degree in business administration
- Experience with ERP systems
- Good working knowledge of standard office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- An accurate, organised way of working, also when several deadlines run at the same time
- Proactive communication: you flag a delay before it becomes a problem
- A team player who likes to work with both colleagues in production and external partners
What we offer
- A market-rate salary based on your experience
- A full-time position
- At least 20 working days of paid annual leave
- Own production: you see directly how your planning affects the shop floor
- A smaller team with short lines and direct contact with management
- Room to grow: as you gain experience, you can take on more responsibility in purchasing or sales
You weld components and assemblies in our own production, working from technical drawings and welding procedure specifications. You hold valid certificates according to DIN EN ISO 9606-1 for MAG and WIG welding.
What you will do
- Weld components and assemblies using MAG (135) and WIG (141) processes
- Work from technical drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS)
- Prepare and finish workpieces: fitting, tacking, grinding
- Check your own work for dimensions and visual weld quality
- Keep your workplace and equipment safe and in good condition
What you bring
- Valid welder certificates according to DIN EN ISO 9606-1 for MAG and WIG welding
- Completed vocational training as a welder, metalworker or in a comparable trade
- Experience in welding steel constructions or machine parts
- Able to read technical drawings and welding symbols
- Precise and quality-focused: you would rather check a weld twice than send it out once with doubt
- Reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable working both independently and in a team
What we offer
- A market-rate salary based on your experience
- A full-time position
- At least 20 working days of paid annual leave
- Own production: you see the full product take shape, not just your part of it
- A smaller team with short lines and direct contact with management
- Room to grow: with experience, you can develop towards a lead welder or extend your welding certifications
You build custom machines and fixtures from drawing to working assembly. No two jobs are the same, so you combine machining, fitting and assembly skills with the judgement to solve problems that are not on the drawing.
What you will do
- Build and assemble custom machines, fixtures and tooling from technical drawings
- Carry out machining work such as turning, milling and drilling, plus sheet metal and fitting work
- Assemble mechanical components and adjust them until the machine runs as intended
- Support commissioning and solve problems during setup
- Give feedback to engineering when a design can be built more simply or more reliably
What you bring
- Completed vocational training in metalworking, industrial mechanics or a comparable trade
- Many years of experience in custom or special-purpose machine construction
- Confident with conventional machining and reading technical drawings
- Welding skills are an advantage
- A problem-solver: you find a workable solution when parts or drawings do not fit
- Accurate, independent and comfortable discussing technical choices with engineers
What we offer
- A market-rate salary based on your experience
- A full-time position
- At least 20 working days of paid annual leave
- Own production: you see the machines you build in daily use
- A smaller team with short lines and direct contact with management
- Room to grow: with experience, you can take on a coordinating role in the workshop
