Vibration isolation and noise reduction in one compact mount
One elastomer element. Two jobs: spring and damper. No separate parts, no added footprint.
What this means for you:
✓ In-house moulding → consistent quality, batch after batch
✓ Own ISO/IEC 17025 lab → a validation report on your timeline
✓ Direct line to the engineer → a straight technical answer, no sales handover
✓ Own Calculation & Simulation Software → a mount engineered to your load
✓ EU manufacturing, 2–3 week delivery → a lead time you can plan around
✓ 60+ engineers, 3,600 m² facility → capacity to deliver on schedule, at volume

“At Damping Solutions, we don't just supply a rubber mount off the shelf. We calculate the stiffness, damping, and load distribution your machine actually needs.”
Rubber & elastomer mounts
are used in:
Rubber & Elastomer Mount Configurations
From compact single-element isolators to load-bearing machine feet.
Rubber Isolation Mounts (SSTN series)
General-purpose isolation
One moulded element, both spring and damper. Compact, no separate part needed.
✓ Continuous machine vibration must be reduced at the source
✓ Structure-borne noise into the floor or structure needs to be limited
✓ The unit operates in a protected, indoor environment
✓ A compact, cost-effective standard solution is preferred
- Tools and general machinery with motor-induced vibration
- Pumps, compressors and fans
- Pipework and pipe supports
- Stationary production and test equipment
Elastomer Machine Feet
Load-bearing support
The metal plate carries the load while the elastomer absorbs vibration and compensates for an uneven floor.
✓ A stable, load-bearing base is required alongside isolation
✓ The supporting floor or frame is not perfectly level
✓ Precise machine alignment must be maintained over time
✓ Vibration to the floor or foundation must be reduced
- Metal mounting plate combined with a selected elastomer compound
- Available in multiple sizes and load ranges
- Corrosion-resistant surface treatment options
- Consistent damping under sustained static load
Need to prove compliance, not just reduce vibration?
We test and document Rubber & Elastomer Mounts in the same ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory we use for our shock-critical products, so you get a validation report rather than a supplier claim.
✓ MIL-STD-810 / MIL-STD-167
✓ MIL-STD-901
✓ AECTP-400
✓ DEF STAN 00-035
✓ BV 0430 / BR 8470
How do you select the right rubber mount?
We check your mass, centre of gravity and disturbance frequency against the mount's natural frequency to confirm isolation, not resonance.
Use our Calculation & Simulation Software when:
✓ The disturbance frequency (motor/pump speed) is known
✓ Structure-borne noise or floor vibration has a defined limit
✓ Centre of gravity and static load per mount need confirming
✓ A documented selection is needed for sign-off
Frequently asked questions about Rubber & Elastomer Mounts
Rubber Mounts suit continuous vibration and noise in a protected environment. Wire Rope Mounts suit higher shock loads and harsh conditions.
Yes. UV, temperature and certain chemicals affect the compound. We confirm your environment first.
Send us your load and frequency data. We confirm type and quantity in a free calculation.
Only once resistance is confirmed. Otherwise a coated or Wire Rope solution fits better.
Yes. We test them in our ISO/IEC 17025 lab against MIL-STD-810, AECTP-400, DEF STAN 00-035 and others.
