Product description

The G Series classic range of wire-rope mounts and isolators. These products are metallic anti-vibration elements consisting of a steel wire rope wound between two retaining bars. The design provides elastic support combined with inherent energy dissipation, making the G Series suitable for applications involving vibration and shock loads.

The G Series has a wide load capacity range, from approximately 8 kg to 6,000 kg per isolator, depending on the specific model. The isolators can operate in all three spatial directions, making them suitable for equipment subjected to complex combined loads.

The mechanical behaviour of the wire-rope isolators is characterised by a non-linear force-displacement relationship and inherent energy dissipation. Important parameters for the evaluation and selection of a G Series isolator include the force-displacement curve, stiffness in the different directions, hysteresis, absorbed energy, maximum displacement, transmitted acceleration, natural frequency and damping factor.

The selection of the appropriate G Series model should take into account the equipment mass, centre-of-gravity position, shock and vibration loads, and the sensitivity of the equipment.
