Product description
The JV Series is preferred version of the J Series of compact wire-rope mounts and isolators. It was developed as a cost-effective alternative to the established riveted J Series, with the objective of enabling automated and economical production without rivets, while retaining the positive characteristics of the conventional J Series.
The JV Series combines small dimensions, high vibration isolation and damping, long service life and high resistance to environmental influences. The wire-rope construction provides effective vibration and shock isolation together with inherent energy dissipation.
The JV Series covers a load range from approximately 2 kg to 225 kg per mount.
The JV Series is particularly suitable for applications where compact dimensions, reliable vibration isolation and damping, and cost-effective production are required. Typical applications include aviation and aerospace, industrial and plant engineering, switch cabinets, device holders and special applications with limited space.
In addition to the standard versions, non-magnetic versions, special fastening options and modified numbers of wire-rope windings are available on request.
Product information
The JV Series is based on a riveted construction. Special fastening options can also be supplied on request, depending on the application.
Type of fixing:
- D2 – through-hole in both retaining bars
- S2 – countersunk hole in both retaining bars
- G2 – metric thread in both retaining bars
- DS – retaining bar 2 with through-hole; retaining bar 1 with countersunk hole
- DG – retaining bar 2 with through-hole; retaining bar 1 with metric thread
- SG – retaining bar 2 with countersunk hole; retaining bar 1 with metric thread
Material:
The JV Series in different material configurations depending on the application requirements. Available material options include:
- Retaining bars made of AlMg4.5Mn with SurTec 650 C surface treatment
- Stainless-steel retaining bars made of 1.4404 (AISI 316L)
- Wire rope made of 1.4401 (AISI 316)
- Galvanized high-strength steel rope for applications without special corrosion-resistance requirements
Special non-magnetic versions are also available.
